FRESH plans to add security measures to a car park for city centre residents have been lodged with Fife Council.
The planning application seeks to erect a security fence, gates and bollards at Campbell Street.
Earlier this year, initial proposals were put forward by Kingdom Housing Association but Fife’s planning authority deemed the plans unsafe for pedestrians and road users.

The 42 spaces at 73A to 73B Campbell Street are intended for use by residents who stay in the nearby Linen Quarter, on Pilmuir Street, and the housing charity wished to see manually operated sliding gates installed to keep unauthorised vehicles out.
However, the application, which attracted six objections, was refused by the West and Central area Planning Committee in April and an amended application has now been submitted.
