ALMOST half of patients were unhappy with the care provided at the lowest ranked West Fife GP, according to a government survey.
Valleyfield Medical Practice in High Valleyfield was rated the worst when it came to the care provided, with 46.6% reporting care at the practice as negative.
Only 31.3% reported the care as positive.
On the other hand, 79.4% of people reported the care given at Bellyeoman Surgery in Dunfermline as positive. Only 6.3% gave the practice a negative response.
Charlestown Surgery also received high positive responses for its care at 72.6%.

When it comes to the arrangements to getting to speak to a mental health professional, Hospital Hill Surgery in Dunfermline was worst ranked.
Only 7.3% of respondents gave the practice’s a positive response, with 44.0% giving it a negative response.
The figures show that the best ranked GP in this regard was Bellyeoman Surgery which received a 54.8% positive percentage.
These figures came from the Health and Care Experience Survey which asks a random sample of people registered with a GP in Scotland about their experiences.
It asks for people’s opinions on a range of issues including the quality of information given by the receptionist, the opening hours of the practice, and the arrangements for speaking to a physiotherapist.
