THERE are plans for 12 new Fife Council houses in Dunfermline.
Councillors on the cabinet committee authorised a contract with Dundas Estates to build on land in Milesmark.
It's just off Carnock Road and Rumblingwell, opposite the junction to The Castings, and the properties will consist of six three-bedroom terraced houses, two two-bedroom semi-detached houses and four two-bedroom cottage flats.

It is anticipated that work could start later this year with the new homes welcoming their first tenants in late 2025.
Due to the "unprecedented" pressure on housing services, with demand for homes far outstripping supply, Fife Council declared a housing emergency in May.
Cllr Judy Hamilton, spokesperson for housing, said Fife has one of the UK’s largest social house-building programmes.
She said: "I am pleased that we’re continuing to deliver on our ambitious affordable housing programme.
"The pressures on housing services remain persistently high, and we are in the midst of a housing emergency.
"However, we can’t lose sight of the fact that each newly built home is an important milestone in delivering more modern, fit-for-purpose, energy-efficient affordable houses.
"It can also be transformative for the wellbeing of tenants who move in with the new-build houses offering secure tenancy in warmer, drier and healthier homes."
Cllr Hamilton said that, as well as providing more housing, the programme continues to create jobs and apprenticeships, supporting the construction industry and the Fife economy.
