A Kelty man broke into a Dunfermline business and stole toolboxes.
Sinisa Tumbas, 43, of Main Street, appeared with a translator at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on June 21, 2022 he broke into the business premises occupied by Engineering Agencies at Halbeath Road, Dunfermline and stole two toolboxes and contents.
There was no recovery of the stolen items, the court was told.
Sheriff Susan Duff imposed a community payback order with 225 hours of unpaid work and an 18-week restriction of liberty order.
