POLICE are appealing for information after a group of teenagers were seen causing "substantial damage" in Rosyth. 

The youths were caught on CCTV damaging machinery and portacabins, the cost of which could be over £5,000, on Milne Road. 

Sharing the appeal on social media, Police Scotland South West Fife said: "A group of teenagers have been observed on CCTV causing substantial damage to machinery and office portacabins at Milne Road, Rosyth.

"Damage could exceed £5000. Incidents took place around 5pm on 14/09 and 3pm on 15/09. Please phone 101 with ref 1869 of 15/09."

Officers will continue checks of the site.
