A MAN was frequently assaulted by his wife for more than two years.
As a result, 42-year-old Roxanne Brown, of Broad Street, Cowdenbeath, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing.
She admitted that between 1st January 2021 and 14th May last year, at Adamson Crescent, Dunfermline, she engaged in an abusive course of behaviour towards her then partner.
On numerous occasions, she struck him on the head with her hand and repeatedly pushed him on the body.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said the couple had been in a six-year relationship.

During that time, Brown regularly assaulted her partner and he would turn up at work with injuries.
His work colleagues were concerned about him and he eventually told one of them what had been happening.
The court was told Brown is now engaged in charity work including for the Salvation Army.
Sheriff Susan Duff imposed a community payback order with 225 hours of unpaid work and a two-year non-harassment order.
