A DUNFERMLINE-based woman has opened a new business in Rosyth following the success of her St Andrews spa.

Debbie Duffy started up her own enterprise, Driftwood Spa, after COVID and has now decided to expand and open up a branch in Rosyth after she discovered she had clients travel from West Fife for her treatments.

She told the Press: "I’m originally from Crail, which I opened up in St Andrews. I was a spa manager before, I spent the last three years in spa management but since COVID I have just had enough of managing people.

"I feel like everyone's work ethic completely changed after COVID and I was like, I can't actually do this anymore!

"I’ve got St Andrews and what I was finding was that I was having clients coming from Dunfermline and South Queensferry."

Debbie, who was flattered at the commitment of her clients, decided that since she was based in West Fife, splitting her time between Rosyth and St. Andrews would be beneficial for her business and her family.

She added: "To have clients from Dunfermline and South Queensferry, I was really shocked and I’ve got 2 little girls who are at nursery and school and my partner, he ended up getting a promotion at work so he's on longer hours at work.

"I thought, I'm going to look at opening up a place closer to home because I’ve already got clients that travel from the Dunfermline and South Queensferry area.

"I’m so blessed that my clients speak so highly of me because its thanks to my clients that I'm where I am today."
