A Ballingry woman brandished a knife at her former partner and threatened to stab him.
As a result, 38-year-old Kelly Boyle, of Martin Crescent, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on June 16 at her home she shouted, swore, brandished a knife and made threats of violence towards her former partner.
Depute fiscal Brogan Moffat said Boyle’s former partner had visited her home and there had been a fall-out.
The depute went on: “She began to shout at him for no specific reason. She then got a knife from the kitchen and was brandishing it towards him.”
Boyle called the police saying her ‘ex’ was refusing to leave her home.
Officers arrived to find Boyle holding the knife, which had a six-inch blade.
She shouted: “Get him out or I’m going to f****** stab him.”
She was told to drop the knife and did so.
Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said: “There was a disagreement and he had been throwing things about, threatening to smash the place up.
“He was refusing to leave and it was her who phoned the police.”
Sheriff Susan Duff admonished Boyle.
