A KELTY man broke into a local shop and stole cigarettes and tobacco worth £600.
There was no recovery of the stolen goods and the thief, David Gillespie, was also caught shoplifting at another store.
Gillespie, 38, of Elmwood Terrace, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted that on 21st May last year he broke into Mitchell’s Newsagents, Main Street, Kelty and stole a quantity of cigarettes and tobacco.
He also admitted that on 4th July this year at the Co-op, Cocklaw Street, Kelty, he stole two bottles of alcohol.
Sheriff Susan Duff imposed a community payback order with a year of supervision and engagement with addiction services.
