Ocean Colour Scene and Kula Shaker are set to perform at the Alhambra Theatre.
Nineties indie rock band Ocean Colour Scene will take centre stage on Saturday, April 19, 2025, with support from Britpop act Kula Shaker.
Ocean Colour Scene live shows have been described as 'communal outpourings of hope and joy that boast the most life-affirming sing-a-longs you’ll ever hear.'
The band, who have been active for more than three decades, were 'key players' in the Britpop scene, with three Top 5 albums and nine Top 20 singles, including the hit 'The Riverboat Song'.
They have continued to evolve their sound, drawing inspiration from soul, folk, and blues artists.
In 2018, they toured with Martha Reeves and The Vandellas.
Simon Fowler, of Ocean Colour Scene, said: "We couldn’t quite believe that Martha Reeves was supporting us, it seemed absurd.
"But our crowd loved it, she went down really well."
Kula Shaker achieved commercial success in the 90s with Top Ten hits such as 'Hush' and 'Tattva'.
After a hiatus, they returned to the music scene with a new album in 2022 and released their seventh album, 'Natural Magik', in 2024.
The Alhambra has become a popular venue for big names in music in recent years, and this concert is expected to be another successful night for the Dunfermline venue.
Tickets for the event go on sale on Friday, October 4, and will be available via Ticketmaster, the Alhambra Box Office, or in person at the Kingsgate Box Office.
