A family-owned hotel in West Fife has been sold for “significantly above the asking price”.
The hotel received strong interest “due to the high occupancy rates and steady levels of trade”.
Agent Drysdale and Company said: “We are pleased to announce the successful sale of The Hillpark Hotel in Rosyth, renowned for its naval dockyard, shipbuilding heritage, and proximity to Fife and Edinburgh.
“Drysdale and Company were appointed to market the freehold interest, as the owner sought to consolidate their portfolio. The sale achieved a figure significantly above the asking price of £780,000.

“The hotel was acquired by a local operator, who plans to expand their established business within the area. Drysdale and Company have similar opportunities available.”
Stuart Drysdale, of Drysdale and Company, said: “The second hotel we've sold this year for City Hotels Ltd, a great result all round.
“We had a lot of interest in this one due to the high occupancy rates and steady levels of trade from both leisure customers and contractors.”
