A DOCUMENTARY on an event which attracted thousands of people to Dunfermline earlier this year is to be aired on Scotland's newest TV channel.
Online broadcaster The Scotland Channel will release the show on the Bruce Festival today (Thursday).
Channel boss Peter Jeal explained: "It's time for Scotland to be properly represented in the media. We aim to reflect the Scottish people, life, culture and achievements of this great country."
The programme can be viewed at www.thescotlandchannel.tv.
'The Return of The Bruce' tells the story of the volunteers who resurrected Dunfermline's annual Bruce Festival in June 2024, to mark the 750th anniversary of King Robert's birth.
Billy George, of festival organisers Visit Dunfermline, said, "We want to promote local pride, and also showcase the city of Dunfermline as a great tourist destination, full of history and culture.

"We were delighted to work with The Scotland Channel to help spread these messages throughout Scotland and beyond."
The Bruce Festival – which returned to the city in June for the first time since 2013 – attracted the best part of 20,000 people into Pittencrieff Park to enjoy a medieval-themed weekend with jousting, battle re-enactments, archery and much more.
