A Dunfermline man ignored a non-harassment and spent the festive season with his former partner until they fell out.
As a result, 32-year-old Andrew Doig, of South Larch Road, was back in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that being subject to a non-harassment order imposed on November 13, he breached it between December 16 and January 1 when he was with the woman.
Depute fiscal Christine Allan said Doig had been staying with his former partner hoping to rekindle their relationship.
However, there had been an argument and on January 1 the woman was at home when she heard Doig trying to get into the property but the locks had been changed. She called 999.
Defence solicitor Amy Harley said: “It was a misunderstanding rather than a blatant disregard of a court order.”
Sheriff Krista Johnston fined Doig £320
