A Dunfermline alternative rock band is set to release a new single this Friday, following a successful appearance at the city’s Outwith festival.
Formed in 2018, the four piece group Stay for Tomorrow has released multiple singles, amassed thousands of views on YouTube, and recently embarked on a mini tour of England.
This latest track Restart was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Dunfermline’s Gracenote Studios.
Singer Joe MacFarlane said: "Restart is an empowering anthem about breaking free from the confines of everyday life. The song conveys a deep longing to escape from routine and emotional struggles, highlighting a shared desire for transformation.
"It resonates with anyone feeling trapped or stuck, offering a hopeful message that change is possible and encouraging listeners to take control of their own paths to renewal.
“With its electrifying drive and inspiring message, this song is the ultimate declaration of embracing a bold new beginning.”
Mr MacFarlane also plays rhythm guitar for the band, with fellow members including lead guitarist Nic Holson, drummer Sean Priestley, and bassist/keyboardist Gemma Wickham.
In August the group hosted Fife’s young rock stars at Aberdour festival, giving students the chance to play live on stage in a move which attracted local praise. Hopefully this single will inspire the youngsters to keep rocking.
