THERE'S a month full of family-friendly activities lined-up for October, including over the school holidays, in libraries, theatres and museums.
OnFife have announced a range of free activities for children during the school holidays with Play on Wheels hosting fun sessions.
In West Fife these will be held at Duloch and Rosyth libraries today (Tuesday) and at Cowdenbeath library on Thursday, and will be fairytale-themed.
A broad programme of events, activities, theatre and film is also planned across the month for families and young people - and the majority of these are free to attend.
The Wee Fife Folk Festival, which will be held at Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline, on October 26, will include a children's ceilidh and other Scottish-themed events at Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries.
Sharron Brown, engagement co-ordinator (young people and families) at OnFife, said: "With Hallowe'en fast approaching, there’s lots of spooky story times, Hallowe'en hullabaloo and pompom pumpkins among a month-full of fun activities for all ages, and it’s all on our doorsteps across Fife."
