A Dunfermline rock duo has produced a new music video featuring historic locations in the city.

The Burrellos are made up of pensioner Brian Burrell and half Portuguese / half American support worker Miguel De Sousa.

The pair released their first single No More War earlier this year, and it was decided that royalties would go to the charity UNICEF.

Brian explained: "My mother unfortunately passed away two years ago and she lived up to the meaning of her Christian name - Olga. She was a saint that helped and gave her love to everyone, and she said to me that I should always help people in need if I can.

"So I am donating all the royalties from the song to help children in need."

The duo soon followed that up with the latest release Money, for which this new music video has been created.

Miguel said: “In the video we’re just having some fun going around Dunfermline waving fake money. We filmed on the High Street along with lots of streets, and the Rumblingwell pub were nice enough to let us film our final scene inside.

“We just kind of mapped scenes based on the lyrics, and we had some input from the cameraman Paul Sinclair, who went to school with Brian.

“The song’s really about how money is a huge force which shapes our world.”

They were joined in the video by Brian's 16-year-old mini short-haired dachshund, Oscar, and the song had 1,900 views on YouTube prior to the music video launch.

Brian and Miguel met during Covid through Dunfermline Advocacy and have been friends ever since. United through a love of music, they have continued writing together despite Miguel moving to Glasgow.
