ENQUIRIES ARE ongoing after a young boy was assaulted in Dunfermline.

The 12-year-old boy was assaulted in the Pittencrieff Street area of the city.

The attack was highlighted on social media and this week a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were made aware of an assault of a 12-year-old boy in the Pittencrieff Street area of Dunfermline, which happened around 6.20pm on Monday, 9 September, 2024. 

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
