A CARE worker was assaulted by a Dunfermline woman who was demanding a lift to the Links Market in Kirkcaldy.
The culprit was 22-year-old Samantha Seath, of Redshank Crescent.
She was not present for her hearing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court but was represented by her solicitor David McLaughlin.
She admitted that on 18th April at her home she assaulted a woman by seizing her by the hair, pulled it and punched her on the body.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said the incident took place at around 1.20pm.
Seath became upset after asking care workers for a lift to the Links Market but was told that was not possible.
She then pulled the woman by the hair and punched her to the chest.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland ordered Seath to pay the victim £200 compensation.
