A Rosyth man stole jewellery from his partner and took it to a pawnbroker shop.
The thief was 38-year-old Brian Connelly, of Castlandhill Road, who appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on 13th January last year at an address in Burntisland, he stole a quantity of jewellery.

The court was told Connelly’s partner noticed her gold chain and a ring were missing after he had spent the night at her home.
He had taken the jewellery to a pawnbrokers and received £180.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said the jewellery had been recovered from the pawnbrokers and they were the ones out of pocket over the matter.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland ordered Connelly to pay £180 compensation to the shop.
