A FAMILY Fun Day is to mark the grand opening of the new £8 million Abbeyview Community Hub.
The event will offer something for everyone with a variety of entertainment and activities planned.
There will be live entertainment from DJ Andy, family activities such as archery, tennis and pickleball, as well as interactive workshops.
Plenty of yummy food will also be available with homemade soup, hotdogs and the chance to create your own pizzas.
As previously reported in the Press, staff will start moving in to the new hub this month which replaces three buildings in the centre of the Dunfermline estate.

The council have knocked down the Tryst, with the community centre likely to follow. The former local office has been enlarged and refurbished to create one big centre.
Councillor James Calder said: "The Family Fun Day will be a fantastic way to celebrate the opening of the Abbeyview Community Hub.
“This new facility will be a great asset for the community, and we’re excited to share it with everyone."
It has a new reception area with dedicated interview spaces, a multi-purpose activity space with linking fold doors for access to an additional space, a community function area to replace the existing community centre, an IT suite and a teaching kitchen.
There are also general use spaces, with several smaller rooms for various needs, a secure entrance for the after school club and an enclosed garden and play area.
The new addition is a year later than planned - it was due to open in September 2023 - and the estimated cost has fluctuated from £6.5m at the outset to £9.5m in November last year.
However, lower than expected tenders mean it's now coming in at nearer £8m.
The Family Fun Day takes place on Friday, October 18 from 11am to 3pm. The day will then end with a silent disco from 4pm to 5.30pm.
This will be a ticketed event so go to the Our Dunfermline facebook page or the website fife.gov.uk/abbeyviewhub
