A timeless tale of tragic romance is set to grace Dunfermline this Friday.
Swan Lake will take to the Alhambra Theatre with the Crown Ballet which brings more than 70 performances of various ballet classics to theatres every year.
The company takes pride in performing in regional theatres often overlooked by other producers.
Other performances in their repertoire include Nutcracker, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, and Don Quixote.

The company was established to deliver ballet with "the highest quality and passion," and they look forward to welcoming more people into their "growing family."
Swan Lake revolves around Princess Odette, who is transformed into a swan by an evil curse.
The narrative unfolds as Prince Siegfried encounters a flock of swans during a hunt, and one of the swans turns into a beautiful young woman.
The prince's quest to break the evil spell with his love is central to the story.
