A 24-year-old man, who was abusive towards his partner in Rosyth for well over a year, has been sentenced.
Dylan Christie, of Ashgrove Court, Methilhill, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between 1st January 2023 and 22nd July this year at an address in Rosyth and elsewhere, he engaged in an abusive course of conduct towards his former partner.
He acted aggressively and made threats of violence, acted in an erratic manner, punched the kitchen door causing damage and threatened to commit suicide to prevent their relationship ending.
Christie also admitted that on 21st July in Admiralty Road, Rosyth and Regents Way, Dalgety Bay, he drove having consumed excess alcohol.
His reading was 29 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 22 microgrammes.
He also breached bail conditions between 22nd July and 6th August by repeatedly contacting his former partner.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland imposed a community payback order with 100 hours of unpaid work, a four-month restriction of liberty order and a two-year non-harassment order.
Christie was also given a one-year driving ban and a £400 fine.
