A 33-year-old man bit a police officer during a disturbance in Inverkeithing.
Kevin Stark, of Green Street, Townhill, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing.
He admitted that on 22nd May last year at High Street, Inverkeithing, he assaulted a police officer by biting him to the body to his injury.
Stark also resisted officers by struggling violently and lashing out with his arms and legs.
He further admitted that on 1st April at an address in Inverkeithing he engaged in a fight with his then partner.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland imposed a community payback order with 195 hours of unpaid work and a year’s supervision.
