A Dunfermline teenager’s abusive behaviour towards his girlfriend included choking, following her about college and kicking her when she was pregnant.
The girl, who was 16 at the time, also saw Alexander Price following her in a Dunfermline street with a knife.
He also had to be escorted from the girl’s school after turning up there in an agitated state.
Price, 18, of Kingfisher Place, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between 1st October 2022 and 18th February 2023, at Pittsburgh Road, Fife College, St Columba’s High School and the High Street, all Dunfermline, he engaged in an abusive course of behaviour towards his girlfriend then aged 16.
He seized her by the throat, compressing it and restricting her breathing.
When she was pregnant, he asked to see her mobile phone, kicked her on the body, shouted offensive comments at her, attended at her college classes and sat next to her, held her by the shoulder to prevent her walking away from him.
He telephoned her school, shouted at her and her friends.
On 18th February last year at the Kingsgate shopping centre, the High Street and James Street, all Dunfermline, he breached bail conditions by approaching and contacting her.
On the same day at James Street, he was unlawfully in possession of a knife.
Sheriff Krista Johnston deferred sentence until 13th November for reports and warned Price, “All options are available.”
