A POPULAR West Fife pub is up for sale as its owners plan their retirement.
The Village Inn in Townhill has been placed on the market for £249,950.
The premises include a large bar area, a lounge area and function room and agents Bruce and Company say the pub is well supported by the local community.
They state: "The Village Inn was purchased by our clients in 2007 during which time it has been trading successfully and has been placed on the market reluctantly due to the owner's impending retirement and is looking forward to spending time with their family.

"Excellent opportunity to purchase a popular and well run public house which was well supported by the local community but has huge potential to provide a generous income by utilising the large function room or such is the size of this freehold would be an excellent development opportunity."
