A NEW veterinary clinic is poised to open its doors next month in Dalgety Bay.
The Forth Coast Veterinary Clinic will open its Regents Way premises on November 4, offering a full range of services to pet owners in the area.
For owner and vet, Alex Lord, the facility sees an ambition which has been 20 years in the making coming to reality.
The surgery will offer consulting, diagnostics, an imaging facility, a surgical theatre, a prep area as well as separated canine and feline wards.
Former Inverkeithing High pupil Alex began Edinburgh vet school in 2006 and graduated in 2012 before he took his first job as a vet in Manchester.
He returned to Fife in 2014 when he took up a job in Kirkcaldy.

He has also spent time working in Australia.
Alex added: "In 2022, it started to become pertinent and obvious that opening a clinic on my own was the next step forward in terms of what I would like to do. This idea stretched back to June 2004.
"Fife is my home and being a part of the communities and building a clinic that is built on my values as a vet and a person which are compassion, care, humility, continuity and a real drive to do my best by my patients and clients is my ultimate ambition.
"I and my team are very excited to start this new chapter."
