A Dunfermline group is knitting red scarves to protest against climate change.
The Soroptimists joined the North Sea Knitters to create scarves 1.5 metres long and 15 centimetres wide, symbolising the global warming limit of 1.5 degrees centigrade.
These were displayed outside the Scottish Parliament on September 25 as part of the "thin red line."
The group also presented scarves to local MSPs.
These scarves were later donated to people in need.
The final stage of this awareness campaign will see scarves from the Soroptimists and other knitters in Sweden and Norway wrapped around the EU building in Brussels.
