A woman assaulted her partner during a disturbance in Rosyth, throwing a bottle which hit him on the head.
Suzanne Gibbons, 39, now of Langlands Road, St Andrews, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on July 3, 2022 at Brankholm View, Park Road, Rosyth, she assaulted her then partner by repeatedly pushing him on the body, repeatedly punching him on the head and throwing a glass bottle which hit him on the head.
She then repeatedly shouted, swore, acted aggressively towards police whilst in possession of a knife and kicked a police officer on the body.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said that when police were called to the scene, Gibbons was shouting: “I’ve got a knife” and began kicking out at officers.
The court heard the partner is now deceased.
Defence solicitor Aime Allan said: “She’s moved out of the area and the partner is no longer with us.”
Sheriff Allan Findlay imposed a structured deferred sentence and Gibbons will return to court on February 12.
