A High Valleyfield man swung a chair narrowly missing a police officer during a disturbance at his home.
Jake Rodgers, 33, of Kinloss Court, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing.
He admitted that on 21st December 2022 at his home, he resisted three police officers and struggled violently with them.
He also shouted, swore and brandished a chair.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said Rodgers picked up a chair and swung it, narrowly missing an officer.
Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said: “He’d formed a view in his mind that the police weren’t entitled to force entry.”
Sheriff Allan Findlay imposed a community payback order with 90 hours of unpaid work.
