Roadworks have commenced in a West Fife area for lead renewal of the water pipes.

The works are being undertaken by Scottish Water on Townhill’s Main Street.

They began on October 14 and are estimated to last for five working days.

A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “We have temporary traffic management in place on Main Street, Townhill.

"Essential upgrades are underway, and we expect this work to continue for the rest of this week. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
