TRAFFIC measures to make sure a West Fife fireworks goes off with a bang have been confirmed.
Restrictions and closures will be in place in Limekilns next Saturday (November 2) for the 81st Fife (1st Broomhall) Sea Scout Group's annual display.
The spectacular has seen a rise in number of people flocking to the village in recent years which has sparked traffic concerns.
Posting on Facebook, event organiser Andrew Mitchell explained: "With Fife Council no longer running events in Dunfermline, we have seen an increased interest in people attending the village fireworks display. As a result, we are seeing an increased number of cars attending the evening.
"Following the introduction of increased stewarding and traffic management throughout the village last year, we have again utilised a third-party supplier to provide measures again this year."
