A West Fife swimming pool is to be closed for more than a week for urgent repairs.
The pool at the Wing at Inverkeithing will be closed, meaning no classes or public sessions can be held until at least November 4 as the pool requires to be partially drained for the work to take place.
Fife Council area community use team manager, Scott Fenton, explained: "One of the pool's jet covers has come away from the wall and needs repaired. To do that, the pool had to be partially drained, and we've had to close while the repair takes place.

"The original fittings for the cover have become worn over time so the parts needed will have to be fabricated.
"We know that pool users in the area will be keen to get back in the water and we'll reopen as soon as we can. We'll post further update online as things progress."
