AN ELDERLY man was taken to hospital following a crash near Kincardine.
Police Scotland are appealing for information following the one-vehicle incident, which resulted in a 71-year-old man requiring assistance at hospital.
The crash took place at around 10.55am on Sunday, October 27, and involved a white Nissan Micra travelling eastbound on the M876.
The car was near the Bowtrees junction when it “appeared to lose control, left the road and rolled down an embankment.”
Emergency services responded and the driver of the car, the vehicle’s sole occupant, was taken to Forth Valley Hospital, where medical staff have described his condition as stable.
Constable Jonathan Inglis said: “Our enquiries into this collision are ongoing and we would urge anyone who may have information or who saw the crash to contact us.
“I would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area. Your images could assist in our ongoing enquiries.”
Police have established that a black Kia was on the road around the time of the incident, with officers keen for the driver of the vehicle to contact them with any information they may have.
Anyone with information is urged to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1417 on October 27, 2024.
