THE FESTIVE magic is set to return to Dunfermline City next month with the Big Light Switch-On.
With festive fun, family entertainment, and even a few special surprises along the way, Dunfermline is getting ready to shine brighter than ever before with this year's Christmas lights switch-on event.
Cllr James Calder, convenor of the City of Dunfermline Area Committee, said: “2024 has been another incredible year for Dunfermline, and we’re excited to cap it off with a festive celebration to remember.
“Come along on Sunday, 17 November, and join us as we light up the city centre and fill Dunfermline with the joy of the season.”
On Sunday, November 17, the heart of Dunfermline will be filled with festive cheer from 11 am to 6.40 pm.
The public can look forward to an artisan market, funfair, live entertainment, a Santa dash, mascot race, and parade before the main event, the Big Light Switch-On takes place followed by surprise headline acts.

This year, participants in the Santa Dash can raise funds for their own causes as well as just for fun.
