TWO additional days of closure for the M90 are on their way, after planned roadworks only just finished up.

The motorway will be closed in both directions for two nights this week to allow for the installation of traffic loops and completion of high friction surfacing.

The southbound lane will be closed between Junction 3 Halbeath and Junction 1C Admiralty on the night of Wednesday, October 30.

These works will be carried out between the hours of 8pm and 6am, with a diversion in place via Sandpiper Drive, Lapwing Drive, St Margarets Roundabout, Pitreavie Roundabout, Kings Road and the A985.

As for the M90 northbound, that will be closed between Junction 2 Masterton and Junction 3 Halbeath on the night of Thursday, October 31 from the same times.

A diversion is in place via the A823(M), Queensferry Road, Carnegie Avenue, Sandpiper Drive and Sanderling Way.
