The full list of candidates for the upcoming West Fife and Coastal Villages by-election has been revealed.
The vote will take place on November 28, with the count held on the morning of Friday, November 29.
The deadline to register candidates was on Monday this week, and the list is as follows:
Scottish Labour Party - Karen Elizabeth Beaton
Scottish Liberal Democrats - Paul Antony Buchanan Quigley
Scottish Greens - Fiona Margaret McOwan
Independent - George Charles Morton
Scottish Conservative and Unionist - David James Ross
Scottish Family Party - Daniel Gerard Smith
Scottish National Party - Paul Edward Steele
Polling will take place between 7am and 10pm on Thursday November 28.
The election comes following the resignation of previous councillor Graeme Downie, who stood down after he was elected as the Labour MP for Dunfermline and Dollar at the recent General Election.
