A MAN has died after an incident at a Dunfermline landfill and recycling centre.
Emergency services raced to the Lochhead Recycling Centre at Wellwood on Wednesday afternoon after reports that a man had been injured.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a man having been injured at a premises north of Wellwood, Dunfermline, around 4.30pm on Wednesday, 30 October, 2024.
“Emergency services attended, however the 66-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are continuing and the Health and Safety Executive has been notified.”
A spokesperson for the Health and Safety Executive added: “We are aware and investigating alongside Police Scotland.”
