Two football hooligans have admitted launching a violent attack on a teenage Raith Rovers fan after a match in Dunfermline.
The victim was knocked to the ground by a group and repeatedly punched and kicked in an incident captured on a mobile phone and posted online.
The shocking gang assault followed a Fife derby match between Dunfermline Athletic and Raith on 2 January 2.
In the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court were two of the attackers but only one can be named for the moment because of legal reasons.
Mackenzie King, of Hillview, Oakley and a 17-year-old youth from Kelty admitted their guilt.
At a bus stop in Halbeath Road, Dunfermline, they assaulted a youth, aged 17, whilst acting with others.
The charge states they repeatedly punched and kicked him on the head and body, seized him and threw him to the ground, repeatedly punched and kicked him on the head and body when he was on the ground, then seized and kicked him as he was attempting to leave, all to his injury.
Sentencing was deferred until December 4 for reports.
