POLICE were called out to the woods at Duloch in Dunfermline this afternoon due to "concern for a person".
There is a large police presence and what one bystander described as a "lot of blue light activity" in the area.
Police vehicles and an ambulance were seen in the car park next to the Duloch campus, which includes the leisure centre, library and Duloch and Calaiswood schools.
A path has reportedly been sectioned off in Calais Muir Woods.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.30pm on Sunday November 3, officers attended woodland in the Duloch area of Dunfermline in relation to a concern for person call.
"Emergency services remain at the scene.”
