A mum, concerned about the bullying of her daughter, assaulted a 14-year-old girl and another female.
Tahina Prentice, 38, of Station Road, Cairneyhill, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She had been found guilty on two charges following a trial.
On November 10, 2022, in Dunfermline, she assaulted a female by seizing her by the body and pushing her.
She also assaulted a girl, then aged 14, by pushing her to the body and headbutting her.
Prentice returned to Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing.
Defence solicitor Lucy Martin said the background was that her client’s daughter was being bullied by others and this resulted in her missing her school exams.
She added that Prentice is a single parent who lives with her three children.
Sheriff Susan Duff imposed a community payback order with 12 months of supervision.
The sheriff was not impressed by Prentice’s attitude in the dock and warned her to co-operate with the court order or else she would find herself in more trouble.
