A Buckhaven woman travelled to Dunfermline on a shoplifting trip to the TK Maxx store.
Teri Docherty, 37, of Bethune Way, “came prepared” with a device to remove tags from the clothing she was stealing.
Docherty appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on May 29 at TK Maxx, Carnegie Retail Park, she stole various items of clothing.
The items were not recovered and the thefts were later spotted when CCTV was reviewed.
The court was told Docherty has a significant number of previous convictions for similar crimes.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said Docherty was using a device to de-tag clothing items before stealing them. “She came prepared,” she added.
Sheriff Susan Duff called for reports and Docherty will be sentenced on December 4.
