The Dunfermline Press and Central Fife Times are launching our Christmas Toy Appeal for 2024 - and we need your help!
In the past, the people of West and Central Fife have never been afraid to show their generosity when helping those in need with our Christmas appeals.
Our campaign last year was hugely successful and we are asking readers to once again donate what they can to our toy appeal and help ensure no child in West and Central Fife goes without a gift this Christmas.
But this year we're not just asking for toy donations - we also want local charities to come forward who are looking for toys to give out to those in need this Christmas.
We're partnering up with our generous sponsors CR Smith, Campion Homes, and Rearo, who will' be helping us raise awareness to make sure every child gets a present this Christmas.
Dunfermline Press and Central Fife Times Editor Scott McCartney said: "It's heartbreaking that there are still so many children out there who may wake up on Christmas morning without a gift. But your donations can help us change that.
"The response we had from local readers and businesses last year was overwhelming, and we know you can help us again. The people of West and Central Fife have shown just how big-hearted they are, and this Christmas your donations can make all the difference.
"There are a lot of charities in Fife that know exactly where these toys are needed, and that's why we're asking them to come forward and help us distribute them.
"So many people in our communities are falling on hard times, and now more than ever it's important to look out for each other
"Please do what you can to help make sure every child gets a toy this Christmas."
Are you a local charity that helps vulnerable families? If you can help get these toys into the hands of deserving children then we want to hear from you.
