A ROSYTH drink-driver was more than six times over the limit when stopped by police.
Garry Brown, 49, of Wemyss Street, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He previously admitted that on January 7 at Wemyss Street he contacted his partner and made offensive remarks towards her.
He called her a “control freak” and told her, “You’re lucky I don’t punch you,” said depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf.
He also admitted that on September 5 in Wemyss Street, he drove a car having consumed excess alcohol.
His reading was 135 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 22 microgrammes.

Defence solicitor Alan Davie said: “The offences are evidence of a self-destructive streak which presents risks to others.
“They had an argument and he made the decision to jump in the car before thinking.”
The solicitor said his client had attempted an overdose the day before the last court hearing and a warrant was granted when he failed to appear.
Brown is already on a community payback order.
Sentencing was deferred for reports until December 4 and Sheriff Susan Duff told Brown: “All sentencing options remain open."
A temporary driving ban is in place until then.
