Dunfermline is set to hold a mini Comic-Con this month.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 23, from 10am to 4pm at the Kingsgate Centre.

The event will have attractions such as various comic vendors, costumed characters, replica film and TV props, and a cosplay competition.

The organisers on their website have said that there will be "comic writers and artists exhibiting their comics and artwork."

"There will be vendors with new and preowned graphic novels and comics, comic artwork, and related products such as merchandise and toys."

The event will also be a chance to have your photo taken with costumed characters from the charity CHAS.

There will be an exhibition of comic artwork from 'The Dunfermline Story', a book released this year featuring stories from Dunfermline's 1,000 years of history.

Scottish comic creators will be signing comics and artwork.

The cosplay competition will offer a £50 cash prize to the contestant with the judges' favourite costume, which will be announced at 3.30pm on the day.

Attendees are reminded to ask permission before taking photographs of those in costume.

More information about the event is available on the Dunfermline Comic-Con website.
