Scottish Water have identified the cause of the interruption to water supplies in Cairneyhill.

As previously reported in the Press, Dunfermline residents faced a loss of water as a burst water main was being repaired in the area.

Some households experienced a loss of normal supply, low water pressure, or discoloured water as a result.

“This is not impacting customers water supplies and we have a team planning the repair.

“In order to minimise impact on customers water supplies when the repair is being carried out, we are arranging for tankers to be brought to the area to maintain supplies, albeit some customers may experience low pressure for the duration of the repair.

“More information will follow on our website when we have a date confirmed for this - Latest In Your Area - Scottish Water
