A WATER pipe has burst in Culross, causing interruption to the supply for residents in West Fife.
Scottish Water confirmed that technicians attended to repair the burst pipe in Culross at 12.35pm on Wednesday, November 13.
The governing body shared an update, providing a timeframe for repairs to be carried out, which is earmarked for this evening.
A spokesperson for Scottish Water said: "We are currently repairing a burst water pipe which is causing the interruption to the water supply for customers in Culross.
"The estimated completion time for the repair is 5.30pm. We expect to complete the repair in a timeframe which means we do not plan to provide bottled water.
"The water supply will gradually return to normal for customers once the repair has been completed."
A follow-up update is expected to come from Scottish Water at 6pm.
