A concert is set to raise awareness for prostate cancer.

Fire Station Creative in Dunfermline will host the annual fundraiser on November 22.

This will be the sixth event held in memory of Bob Moir, their former director, who died from the illness in 2016.

Tickets are able to be purchased here.

This fundraiser comes at a time where the cancer is at the forefront of the public's mind after Sir Chris Hoy's recent diagnosis.

Ian Moir, managing director of Fire Station Creative and son of former director Mr Moir, said: "Like everyone else in the nation, I was shocked to hear that a relatively young sports hero has been given this diagnosis.

"It’s imperative that men over 40 understand the danger they can be in and that a comprehensive examination could save their life."

Americana singer Robyn Smith and singer-songwriter Sandy Power will headline the event.

Radio West Fife will be at the event as well to cover the headliners.

The night will begin with a dance routine by teenager Sarah Elliott.

Alan Forrester, a school friend of the late Mr Moir, will also perform acoustic pop and rock classics with Ron Halliday.

The event is sponsored by Appollo Events, who will provide the PA system and sound engineer.

Tickets, priced at £11, are available on Eventbrite or directly from the venue’s café/bar.

All proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Prostate Scotland.
