DELAYS expected on Fife train services after a signalling fault was identified near Inverkeithing station.
The fault, which was located between Inverkeithing and Kirkcaldy, meant that services were unable to run via Aberdour this morning.
And while this has now been rectified, with services calling in both directions in Aberdour, ScotRail has warned that delays and alterations could still occur.
Updating their customers on social media, they said: "We are now able to run trains via Aberdour in both directions.
"Services are now returning to run as scheduled with some delays and alterations ongoing."
