What impact has it had?
Hudson Road was blocked off by the police at the turn on to Ridley Drive. A large number of police vehicles used a nearby hotel car park as a base.
The nearby St John's Primary parents were informed this morning, and teachers had to escort pupils inside. the morning break time was held inside so kids were well clear of the armed officers.
