WHILE carrying out a mobile phone initiative, Fife Police caught a number of drivers using their mobile behind the wheel.
Officers were carrying out the initiative on Wednesday, and saw six people on their phones while they were driving.
Sharing the information on X (formerly Twitter), Road Policing Scotland reminded motorists of the repercussions that come with using a phone, sat nav, tablet, or any device that can send or receive data while driving.
They wrote: "#FifeRP were carrying out a mobile phone initiative today. A total of 6 drivers were observed driving whilst using a mobile phone.
"If caught driving whilst using a mobile phone you can expect a fixed penalty of £200 and 6 penalty points."
